ABOUT THE BRAND

J. Herbin, founded in 1670 in Paris, France, is the oldest continuously operating manufacturer of writing ink and sealing wax in the world. With over 350 years of history, it stands as a cultural symbol of French luxury, having supplied sealing wax and ink to the Royal Court of King Louis XIV, Napoléon Bonaparte, and the renowned author Victor Hugo. J. Herbin inks are celebrated for using natural ingredients dyes, featuring a neutral pH (non-acidic) formula that is exceptionally safe for fine fountain pens, preventing corrosion and nib clogging.
